Worst experience ever. We had our beloved 14 year old family member put to sleep at green hills vet clinic in moberly mo and we paid for a private cremation. We waited for almost a month to get his ashes back only to find out he was never sent to the crematorium. When I asked how this could have happened all I got was excuses and told it wasn't their fault. I demanded a refund and his body so I could bring him home and finally lay him to rest myself. I don't feel like I over reacted to the situation he was very special to our family and having him put to sleep was the hardest thing we had to do but he got to the point where he couldn't walk and hold is bowels or bladder we thought we were giving him a little bit of dignity but there is none in this and it would be no different in my opinion if it had been one of their love ones and they had waited a month to get their ashes back only to find out they haven't been sent to the crematorium yet and had been in a freezer in a trash bag all this time and let's face it if I hadn't of called who knows how long he would have stayed in there
