I am a career biomedical researcher turned enthusiastic language teacher.
I am from Brazil and came to the USA as a researcher in 2005. At UMass Medical School and MIT, I executed projects and published scientific articles dealing with infectious diseases and cancer. Always passionate about education, mentoring, traveling, and learning about cultures and languages, I made sure to explore these elements during my scientific journey.
I now run a tutoring business focused on providing customized Brazilian-Portuguese lessons to individuals and small groups.
