I had a dog grooming appt setup weeks in advance due to their booked schedule. One of their top priorities, TOP policies is that they will NOT groom a dog without an updated rabies shot. I have been going to Go Pet Go for years. I can confirm this is the case. However, when I called to book my dogs grooming appt, they did not tell me he was behind on his rabies shot. It is their JOB to verify rabies expiration before booking the appt. Then, 1 day before my appt, they called to verify that I would be there. Again, they said nothing about his rabies shot being expired.

I show up for my appt, Megan grabs the file, looks at it and says they can't groom my dog because he is behind on his shot. I asked her why didn't they tell me he was behind when I set the appt or yesterday when they confirmed the appt? She went and grabbed the groomer and asked her if she told me when she verified the appt that he was behind on the shot. She said, "yes, I told him". Well they lied and I called them on it. They said nothing about the rabies shot being behind. Their confirmation phone call lasted 13 seconds. They called to verify if I would be in at my scheduled time, I asked what time, they looked and say 11am. I said I would be there and we ended the call. There is NO WAY we talked about my appt and my dog being behind on his rabies shot within 13 seconds. I would have argued with them, asked them why didn't they tell me this when they booked the appt like they are supposed to etc. This would have been a 5 minute phone call with me trying to get an exception, talking to the manager, telling them how upset I was etc. I know me. Furthermore, had this conversation taken place, WHY in the world would I show up for my appt without having gotten him the shot? It makes NO SENSE. So, the groomer called me a liar to my face, Megan the store manager said she believed the groomer and that I needed to leave the store. I promise you had they mentioned an expired rabies shot, that conversation would have taken much longer than 13 seconds and I would NOT have shown up to my appt expecting to get my dog groomed just to be turned away. NEVER will I darken their door again. They cost me an hour of my time, called me a liar to my face and kicked me out of the store!
