Formatec was created by Professor Rafael Barreto in 1978. Professor Barreto saw the needs of children to improve their academics and set himself on the quest of creating a motivational program that gives the student a desire to learn.
In the year 2002,Formatec opened its doors in Miami Florida with a goal to supply much needed help to the Miami-Dade County Students and surrounding areas. Since then, the records of success are unparalleled. Starting from students failing their grades, (and after a few hours of tutoring in Formatec) seeing an improvement of up to 2 grade levels. Formatec possess the most innovative teaching methods that involve the individualized use of computers with the supervision of certified teachers.
