Steve Osterhage has worked with families for over 20 years in different capacities. In 2006, he co-founded Family Fuel, Inc., a nonprofit organization which offers parent education, teacher trainings and evaluations and bullying solution assemblies for kids. Steve is currently the Executive Director and Head Trainer of Family Fuel and he trains all over California and the Western US from Family Fuel's home base in Santa Barbara, CA. During his time with Family Fuel so far, as a director, he has trained over 7,800 adults in Love and Logic skills, including over 2,000 educators, and over 43,000 kids in bullying solutions.

Bullying:
He developed STARS Bullying Solutions and STAND UP to Bullying assemblies using Love and Logic and Sally Ogden concepts. His son was bullied, which has given him a practical, working knowledge & compassion for bullying dynamics.

Parents:
He has worked with all kinds of parents including adoptive parents and foster parents of high risk kids. He is a trained facilitator for the Love and Logic Institute and regularly trains all of their training programs for parents and teachers. He has been the keynote speaker for many parent education conferences. He lead Family Fuel to be voted the best parenting class in Santa Barbara by local website SBParent.com in 2009 and was awarded MVP Dad also by SBParent.com. He has used the Love and Logic skills with his own kids for 17 years. He is currently spending most of his time coaching parents.

Educators:
He has been training educators for 13 years in Love and Logic, over 2,000 to date. He has worked with over 125 schools, including more than 20 preschools.
The observation / evaluation program is new, but he has already provided over 100 observation and evaluations.
He was trained specifically by the Love and Logic Institute and has ongoing relationship with the authors of the program.
Steve is always innovating new ways to connect the Love and Logic philosophy to people of all types.
