I live in the Carmel Valley/Sorrento Valley area and have been using Extraordinary Pets as a dog walking service during the week for about a year now. They are great! They come to my home and take her (Annie Jones) out every day and sometime she gets to walk with doggie friends which she thinks is great (and so do I). Annie loves her walkers and looks forward to them coming and it is a great relief to me to know that she is getting out and getting some exercise no matter where I am during the working day. They also send email updates letting me know that she has been out and sometimes there are cute pictures with the email :-) I highly recommend Extraordinary Pets.



My dogs and I LOVE all the walkers and sitters that they get to see every day! Marley often sits on the stairs watching the door, especially on Sat and Sunday when all she gets is me for the day! And my two get to walk with Guinness and Annie (see other reviews) too! It has helped them around other dogs and to be better walkers. I appreciate the updates each day to ensure that if I am gone for the day, that they have had there walk, water and carrot treats!

Based on yelp reviews, I reached out to Extraordinary Pets a few months ago to set up dog-walking. My schedule was erratic and we weren't able to find an arrangement that worked for both parties at the time. But they were so pleasant to deal with, I bookmarked the business and knew I would turn to them if things changed.


Well now here I am on Maternity Leave, housebound with swelling and nerve pain and unable to give my 80 lb. dog a good walk in the morning. Extraordinary Pets (AKA Doug and Dena) came to the rescue. Their whole setup works. Doug is friendly, consistently punctual and so good with my dog. It has only been a few weeks but the routine is working out extremely well for me and my dog. I am extremely happy with and grateful for their service and trust them implicitly.

Dena and Doug have been the best!!! They have been taking care of Rocky and Rambo for almost 4 years and they are awesome!!! Always available when we have to go out of town to take care of them for us. Love that they send us a text everyday on what they did that day and if they got to play with other dogs. And if they think they are getting sick they let us know so we can get them to the vets. The best ever I would not use any other dog walking service!!!!
