About the business
Begun in 1994, Excellence in Academics services middle school and high school students. At present, we offer tutoring in math (though Calculus), Biology, Chemistry, Physics, English, Spanish, French, ESL (in all subjects) and test taking preparation. We also offer our own SSAT, PSAT, SAT and ACT preparation programs. Primarily, we work one-on-one with students, yet have group sessions available upon request. We have an office in Monterey but can offer sessions via Skype (we have a PayPal account) if online tutoring is needed. In addition, the owner, Kim Von Berg, is a math learning specialist and a licensed teen/young adult coach. Please refer to the website for more details.
