He won't pay his employees at all. Gives paper checks and doesn't ever have any money in the bank to pay. Has no workmans comp insurance. Fires the employees when they complain about checks not clearing. Then lies about former employees and says that the employees stole from the company. Very good liar. Can look you in the eyes and boldface lie!

Where do I even begin with this review? First, they promised a number of things to my father and never came through with them. The owner said he would bring my father new ostomy supplies to try since he was constantly leaking, he said he would come to my father's home and show him how to use the glue for his ostomy, he also said he would bring a urine cup for my father for times he could not get out of his chair. He never did any of those things. I was constantly stressed and worried that they would not show, that my father didn't have what he needed when they promised to have it to him. In addition, when my father could not walk to the bathroom, the caregivers dragged him to it in a kitchen chair. Yes, that says kitchen chair! Almost everyday, I asked about a transport chair and I was either told it was coming the next day, it was in the trunk of someone's car, it had a broken wheel or I was just flat out ignored. They did not show up on two occasions and while I was out of town, 1500 miles away, they texted me and said they could not show for the next 3-5 days because everyone was sick. That was when I reported them to the elderly abuse and neglect agency. Miraculously, someone was well enough to attend to my father as promised. They tried to change the amount of time and rates they promised and they tried to overbill us. They do not follow the contract and they also revised the original contract and gave us a photocopy of it. I guess they think we wouldn't notice. They canceled services to my father because he did not pay early. They do not answer phone calls nor do they have voicemail available to leave a message. They answer texts and emails when they feel like it. I have yet to find their license number and their current address is vacant. However, they will have an employee sitting outside in his vehicle waiting for you to drop off payment at the address listed (on Mooney) but with no way to issue a receipt. Please, if you care about your loved one, do NOT hire Emerald Coast Senior Care. I could go on and on about more details but hopefully this is enough for you to make an informed decision about hiring a different company.

Unsafe and unprofessional. Their employees dress like slobs and they lack integrity and common sense.
