I have over nine years of experience working with local and international students of all ages - adults and children. I hold a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of British Columbia with a Major in French and a Major in Spanish and I amcurrently completing my TESOL certificate - Teaching English as a Second Language. I have pursued learning a second and third language as well and I am now, what we call in English, a trilingual - someone who can communicate in three different languages. Because of my personal experience and training in second language acquisition, I know first hand the difficulties that arise when learning a new language and/or dealing with English nuances. I am patient, positive, organized, punctual, and have the ability to anticipate a student s needs and questions.
