Dr. Park's Academy is the premiere licensed and accredited professional institution specializing in educational and career planning/services for all ages, from Montessori and beyond. In addition to every high school subject, we focus on standardized testing from K-12 and beyond (GRE and college-level exams).
At Dr. Park's Academy, no age is too young or old to begin planning your own or your child's future success. We utilize Psychiatrists for IQ-Testing your child into gifted programs, such as the Rogers Park Highly Gifted Program and the Central Middle School Gifted Science and Math Program. We currently have elementary school students we have directly tested, transferred, and enrolled.
The Academy is passionate about education and dedicated to their students' success. As a result, Dr. Park's students have scored in the top percentile of standardized exams and received admissions and numerous scholarships to top universities, such as Johns Hopkins University, Columbia, Northwestern, Rice, UT-Austin, the University of Michigan, and more.
We also head an educational newspaper that targets and educates parents and students on educational success, the college application process, and individual colleges.

Dr. Park's Academy was founded by Dr. Park, who received his Ph.D in mechanical engineering from Texas A&M and his wife. Dr. Park has been a long-time teacher, originally beginning his career as a Professor. In the 90s, Dr. Park began working for NASA and specialized in space vacuums. Dr. Park has had long-term familial ties to Alaska, and in 1998, Dr. Park became an Alaskan resident and currently works as the lead mechanical engineer for ANTHC, a non-profit company with an operating budget of $430 million and 2,000 employees.
Dr. Park's Academy was founded in early 2000 because Dr. Park and his wife have always been and will be passionate about education. The Academy specializes in K-12 education, with particular focus on standardized testing (i.e. K-12 standardized testing, SAT, SAT II, ACT) and college preparation aid and guidance. Each tutor values higher education, and has an advanced degree, ranging from Ph.D's to M.D.'s to M.A's.

- Our very first student received a 1500/1600 on the old SAT. The student elected for early admission into the Johns Hopkins University premed program. After graduating, the student returned for our college/post-grad admission prep services and obtained admission into the #1-ranked University of Washington medical school. They have graduated and moved onto residency. Our first and wonderful success story.
- Our students have received perfect scores in SAT sections. We achieved our first 800 in 2004, with our student scoring a perfect 800 in the SAT Writing Section and perfect 12/12 on the essay portion. That student received admittance letters from Columbia, the University of Chicago, Northwestern University, Georgetown, etc. They recently graduated from Northwestern University and we are currently working on their law school admission prep package.
- This year, a student has achieved a perfect 800 in the SAT Math section. To name a few, he has received admittance into the University of Illinois engineering program, the University of Texas-Austin engineering program. He is waiting to hear back from the University of Michigan.
- Under our guidance, another student has achieved a composite SAT score of 2250 and has become a National Merit Scholar. As such, he will receive numerous college scholarships.
- From 2000 to 2004, under our guidance, our student has won 4 consecutive school spelling bee titles, 2 state titles, and in 2004 places 8th in the National Spelling Bee. We are extremely proud of her. She is our current tutor for spelling bees.
