My young, healthy, fully immunized lab became very ill after a 7 day stay here. We had left 4 contact numbers for them to call if there was any problem with our dog- not a single attempt was made to call any of them. Owner admitted hearing our dog coughing on his 4th day there. When we picked him up 3 days later he had lost weight, was coughing continually and was lethargic.
Our vet confirmed that he had Somme type of respiratory infection and prescribed 14 days of an antibiotic and a cough suppressant.when I contacted owner of kennel, Carol, she was not sympathetic and took NO responsibility for what happened. No offer to share the vet bill, no partial refund on boarding not even the offer of a couple days of "doggie daycare" as a gesture of good will. She just ignored it.
BEWARE of this kennel & it's uncaring owner!
