I am a longtime Marin resident, former Dental Assistant and mother of three grown children. I started my own pet care business 10 years ago specializing in quality walks, play time, safety checks, and transport. I have experience working with young pets and seniors that need special care. I'm also certified in Reiki therapy, and actively study pet care and communication techniques. When appropriate, I bring along my Golden Retriever, Sunny, who is a great model for dogs who are learning to socialize.

I have used Deb's helping hands for quite some time now. I had two kitties that she cared for a few years back. They have both passed on, both were over the age of 20 years. Now I have a very fluffy cat named Beau. With the stay at home restrictions I had not traveled since I got Beau. Recently though I needed to take a short trip. Deb's Helping Hands came in twice a day and took care of my cat with great care and kindness. I received a few pictures of Beau from the Caretaker and he was clearly at ease and happy. When I got home everything was in great order and Beau was also just fine. He was glad I was home, but not in any way anxious or otherwise stressed out. I highly recommend Deb's Helping Hands. They care and they clearly love animals and are very kind and protective of who they are caring for.

Deb is simply the best: a definite dog whisperer. I am a disabled woman with an older goldendoodle that adores Deb. We have special needs and Deb has been there 200%. We both love her. She gets our highest recommendation possible. She is a Rock Star. Feel free to contact me as a reference.

Deb is a gem. My dog loved her, and their walks together.
She is honest and caring, with a heart of gold.
She has a magic, loving touch, and when my older dog had pain, Deb would put her hands on my dog, and the pain would subside.
I trust her, and recommend her to take care of your pets.

I adore Deb and so do my beagles! I was very lucky to have met her in a neighborhood where I was renting a house - she helped me out when I had to leave town unexpectedly. I have had beagles and border collies for over 20 years, and have had many people care for my dog children. I think Deb is one of the best. She's reliable, caring and lovely to work with. I have never had a worry when my kids are in her care, I know she truly treats them like her own darling Sunny! She gets my highest recommendation and a big arrrooooo from Mucci and Sammy.

We've been relying on Deb for dog walking activities for a number of years. She has been completely reliable and goes to the enth degree to make sure that our dog is well exercised and gets some fun play time as well. She even emails a brief synopsis each day of how her visit went. She is wonderful in every way to deal with. I can't recommend her too highly for this important job.

I was reluctant to leave my two beloved cats for a brief trip down the CA coast (as I had just re-located them from their home of many years in Bend, OR). Deb's care was incredible...she sent me photo's of the cats each visit, so I was assured they were happy and well cared for.....I plan to use her services many times in the future!

I am so happy to have found Debra for our two dogs.She has been walking our dogs multiple times a week for roughly a year now, and we could not be more pleased. Debra communicates well with me as to her availability, and she is very professional and prompt. She is generous with her time,and gives the dogs a great tiring walk, as well as lots of love and attention. I just happened to mention the fact that the neighbors were complaining about my dogs' barking, and she did a lot of independent research and called me back with helpful advice. The dogs love her, and it is evident to me that she truly adores them. She also trains them. When we first adopted the dogs, they were very anxious around other dogs. Now, they are better at meeting and greeting, and walking away without escalating unnecessarily. Like the other two reveiwers, I also recommend her highly and without reservation!

Debra has been simply great. We hired her when both my husband and I were unable to walk our Golden Doodle puppy due to knee and back problems one week, and after only that one week, it was clear she was doing more than just walking him, but he was suddenly not pulling on the leash, was much less impulsive, and happier. We've continued with her a few days a week just because he's so well-behaved now, and we as a family are trying to be consistent with her training, too. She's very sweet with the dog, yet is consistent and clear in her direction. I have also found Debra to be incredibly flexible in scheduling, and generally a delight. I recommend her without hesitation.

Debra has been an absolute gift to our family! We have three dogs with different needs and temperaments. One of them is quite old and experiences frequent hip pain. Debra not only takes her time while walking him to ensure that his hips bother him as little as possible, but she also spends some extra time giving him reiki! We have seen a noticeable difference in his agility, and all three dogs eagerly await Debra's arrival every week. Debra has the sweetest, kindest approach and personality. She genuinely loves animals and we completely trust her to care for our dogs the way that we would. Debra is also very generous and flexible, which has been an added bonus when our schedules get chaotic. I cannot speak highly enough of this amazing dog walker! I highly recommend her without hesitation. Debra is simply the best!
