She was the Lead Mediator/Evaluator in the Family and Probate Divisions of a Central Valley California Superior Court during her 15+ year court career. In such position, she was assigned over 2700 cases of child abuse and elder abuse cases. In 2008, she also helped author the Omnibus Bill that has led to greater protections for the elderly/disabled adults in California. She was appointed to the California Association of Superior Court Investigator Board of Directors in 2005, and served as Board President and Legislative liason in her last 2 years on the Board. Elected by statewide colleaques from all 58 California Counties, Ms. Tackitt was awarded the Golden Quill award in 2011, recognizing her for her work in prevention of child abuse, elder/disabled adult abuse, and with specific efforts in preventing financial elder abuse.

Ms. Tackitt created CoreTsolutions, LLC to continue offering assistance to families after she retired from the Court. We will offer "home checks" or consulting services to families who are concerned about possible child abuse or elder abuse. We will also do "random" checks on loved ones to provide assurance to family members that their loved ones are not in harm's way. We can also act of a general "home manager" and assist families in getting the daily care needs completed in a timely and efficient manner. We can Mediate any family disputes, and if necessary, we can also assist you in completing legal documents to open a Court case.
