I began running 12 years ago when I got a chocolate lab puppy. Wow! had no idea how much energy she had and how quickly she could get into trouble! It didn't take long to realize that a few walks a day were not enough to exhaust her energy and save my sanity. That is when we began running. After our run, she was sweet, calm and cuddly! She still had energy to play with her toys, but was not engaging in destructive behaviors, like chewing on shoes and furniture. While she is no longer able to run with me, she still enjoys her walks and playtime.

During my career as an employee benefit specialist, I educated organizations and individuals on the impact their lifestyle choices have on themselves and those around them. I believe the same is true for our beloved dogs. That's why I started the company. Plus, I just plain love dogs and running!

We offer customized fitness sessions for dogs as well as concierge services.

Just like people, dogs need regular vigorous physical activity. Running is the most natural exercise for dogs. It is a great way for your dog to burn off extra energy and get a healthy workout. Walks typically do not provide enough exercise for most dogs and do not utilize all of their energy.

Running not only provides cardiovascular benefits, maintains muscle tone and assists in weight management, it can help alleviate problem behaviors that arise out of boredom.
