Who I am:
I am Ben Bloom, and I am passionate about helping students to succeed in high school math, including algebra, geometry, algebra 2/trig, prob/stat, and calculus.
Math is in my blood; my grandfather was for a time a math teacher in the landwhere algebra was invented. I am gifted at teaching math concepts, and I have achieved proven results. My schedule is flexible, and I can tutor your student in your home or in mine.
Tutoring/teaching Experience:
Over several years when I volunteered to teach a math SAT prep class to high school students in my church youth groups, student test scores rose 100 points on average, between initial practice test scores and scores on the actual SAT tests. I have also tutored privately for all high school math levels.
