About the business
As a former Vet Tech and Veterinary Hospital Manager, I have over 30 years of animal handling experience and over 25 years of dog training experience. I have an Associate degree in Animal Science and received my certification in dog training in 2003 with specialized certification in training and rehabilitating shelter/rescue dogs. In addition, I am an approved AKC Canine Good Citizen (CGC) evaluator.
I offer the following services:
1) Evaluation, assessment and training of dogs with behavioral issues, including fear and shyness.
2) Private In-Home training for puppies and older dogs, both basic obedience and behavior problems.
3) Group classes for Puppy which includes socialization and confidence building along with a strong foundation for manners and obedience - 3-6 months old. This class is run as an AKC S.T.A.R. Program (no extra charge).
4) Group Classes for Basic Obedience - 6 month and older.
5) Group AKC - CGC (Canine Good Citizen) classes.
Group classes are offered in both Dutchess and Orange Counties and Private classes are offered in Dutchess, Orange, Putnam, Rockland and Northern Westchester Counties. Private lessons are tailored to you and your dog's individual needs and are available by appointment weekdays, evenings and Saturdays!
