Mrs. Reed graduated from Stephen F. Austin State University in 2001 with a Bachelor's of Science Degree in Interdisciplinary Studies and a Minor in Special Education. Upon completion of her Degree, She taught Special Education (grades 3-5) for theHouston Independent School District for 3 years. Along with teaching, she tutored part-time after school, as well as taught a GED class for adults at a local Community College. After completing 3 years of teaching she decided to join the United States Army in 2004 to pay off school loans and honor her deceased father who died during the Vietnam Era. She has been serving in the military since 2005. Currently, she is out of the military and is resuming her passion; teaching and enriching lives. Brighton Oaks Tutorial Services provides academic support for grade level and college level courses. Areas if Expertise include: Special Needs Curriculum Modifications and Accommodations Special Education Advocacy Services Our Areas of instruction include: -Math (K-5) -Science (K-6) -Reading (all levels) -Grammar/Writing/Literature (all levels) -History/Government/Political Science (all levels) -Health -Computers (all levels) with a focus on Microsoft Office Applications, SharePoint and some hardware courses. COST PER SESSION / CANCELLATIONS: I do not offer sessions at an hourly rate due to the fact that more than one hourly session will be needed in order to gain academic success. Therefore, I offer session packages ranging from $180-$475 a month depending on how many sessions you want to schedule. (Payment plans are offered) On an hourly rate basis, the breakdown ranges from $23-$36/hour depending on the package you choose. There will also be a travel fee assessed, this fee will range from $10.00-$15.00 per session depending on location.
