Welcome! My name is Shannon and I am the owner of Busy Bees Creative Learning & Reading. First, I am a mom of 3 amazing adult children and 6 (even more amazing) grandchildren, all boys! I love working in the autism field and have decided that I want tooffer something a bit more than what I am currently doing professionally. I offer one-on-one creative learning/creative learning sessions for children of all ages but specialize in Pre-K ages (2-5). I am a licensed Registered Behavior Technician and work primarily with kiddos on the ASD spectrum but I also work with children of all abilities and ages. I have experience working with kiddos that have ADHD and behavioral challenges as well. I believe that children learn through their own learning styles and I cater my lessons accordingly. I love naturalistic teaching and am flexible with all learning goals. Whether you need help with life skills, academics, or childcare in general, I am here to help! I will use all kinds of methods to teach your kiddo and explore what works best for them. I provide a lot of materials and am open to ongoing adjustments to skill sets. We will always be in communication regarding your goals and progress. I am patient, caring, creative, and structured. I have created some amazing lesson plans for all types of learning styles and kiddos. If you need help with sensory learning, I can help as well. My focus is reading, spelling and writing. I am a non-smoker, clear background, am pet friendly and am very open to learning about the needs of your kiddo and family.
