If I could give these guys 10 stars, I would! I found Fog City Dogs after a long and challenging search for quality daycare for my 3 year old dog, Sophia; and this was actually recommended by my Vet as one of the best in the city. I couldn't agree more.
Before I started taking her there, she was home alone for long hours everyday, and it was difficult to give her the exercise and attention she needed (and deserves) when I was working. It is very clear that everyone at Fog City Dogs, from the owners Jason and Sean, to all of the staff, truly loves dogs. They take pride in their work, it is clean, and the dogs are happy (I know, because Sophia is always very excited as soon as she knows where we are going). They know her, they treat her kindly, and the best part is that she is always exhausted when I pick her up at the end of the day - no small feat for a 3 year old German Shorthaired Pointer, who requires A LOT of exercise! They even give me little updates about what her day was like when I pick her up.
This team is the really best, and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for daycare!

Love this place. I brought my pup once for 12 blissful hours of not worrying about getting home to let my dog out. I walked by the other day and my dog charged the door with her tail wagging vigorously..."mom, do I get to go play with the other dogs?" Great sign! So I decided I would have to bring her back soon. The attendants are very nice and helpful and I love having access to the dog cam so I can waste my work hours away watching my dog wag her tail and play around with the other dogs. It's a great experience to be able to leave my dog in the capable hands of a daycare center on a busy day, to relieve some of my dog owner guilt.

Fog City Dog has been instrumental to my dog's health (esp, in his early super active years (he's a husky)). Although I don't live in the neighborhood any longer I still occasionally take him there when he is in need of a full play day. When I moved out of the neighborhood I resorted to getting a dog walker who comes to my house a few days a week. The staff has always been friendly and great about catering to my requests over the course of 8+ years. I love the fact that they have simply let you buy a 10x pass without a short expiration date (like most other places) and it's very well priced (still same last time I checked last year anyway). Manager Nick, Melissa, and all the rest have been great. My rescue dog had socialization issue and was not doing well with other dogs. After an iffy evaluation, they let her come in for a day, and monitored her activities. Lo and behold, after about 15 minutes of bad manners and anxiety, she started getting in with the pack and learning how to co-exist and to play. Next day she went the full day.

And the doggie cam let me watch it all. Thanks FCD

Fog City Dogs is the best place to leave your dog for the day. The staff is wonderful to the dogs and Nick Ortega on the morning shift is fantastic with dogs and the owners. He understands the dogs personalities and always informs me if there is anything unusual going on with my dog. Abby is a 4 year old shepherd who has been going to Fog City since she was a pup. She can't wait to go in and find her circle of dogs. Nick is great telling me about who she plays with and how she acts. He has a great group of dog walkers who he has trained and they in turn are wonderful with the dogs. The walkers are kind, gentle people who handle the dogs well. The lodge is a very good place to leave your dog if you go on vacation and they have cameras so you can log on and watch your pooch. I love Fog City and Nick is the best!
