Allegiant's nurses are licensed clinical professionals who conduct physical assessments, develop care plans, and supervise home health aides and other caregivers. All of our nurses are licensed and are trained to work with families to develop care plans that meet each client s health needs. We have nurses with specific areas of expertise including psychiatric nursing, Alzheimer's and dementia, diabetes, and other conditions.
All of our caregivers are licensed or certified by the New York State Department of Health. Before hire, they are extensively training and undergo rigorously screening, including background checks and physical exams. We provide on-going safety and specialty training to keep our team up to date in caregiving best practices. We provide them continual supervision, support and training.

Allegiant has delivered an incredibly high standard of care for our family. The aides are excellent, the coordination is responsive to our particular needs (including those of my very demanding and uncooperative parents) and also quite flexible.
When we needed to increase the level of support quickly, over the weekend, on an emergency basis due to a medical crisis, they were right on it.
