DO NOT BRING YOUR DOGS HERE!!!
THEY DIDN'T FEED MY DOGS!!!!

My dogs stayed for 5 nights. I packed the exact amount of food in quart size bags for each dog. Each dog is fed a different food and have different supplements so those were put in the bags. Each bag labeled with date and dog's name. Literally, all they had to do was put the food out. I also packed and instructed them to use slow feeders for each dog because they eat too fast.

On pickup, I was given back 8 bags of unused food (4 bags for each dog). I asked the manager if they were fed that morning and she "don't know". The owner calls to apologize and say she'll "get to the bottom of it." Manager says camera looks directly over my dogs' kennel. Owner says she "can't view into the kennel." I was told Tim comes in at 5am-7am to feed. Manager and staff are there from 7am-7pm. Tim comes back from 5pm-10pm to feed again. Tim is there alone. Tim knows where cameras are located and which kennels can be seen and which ones are hidden. Tim says, "I fed your dogs" but "I don't know why you have extra." Tim says Zuki ate all his food and tried to eat Cooper's each time, but can't explain why Zuki wasn't fed 4 times. He explained that the first night Cooper didn't eat all his food so it was picked up and offered again the next morning. He cannot explain the other 3 missed meals. The manager tells me that Tim is supposed to report when dogs are not eating so that they can notify pet parents. Tim didn't follow protocol. If he picked up the food because they weren't eating (as he claims) then why did Zuki chew on his food bowl? This shouldn't have even been left in the kennel at all. It's a hazard! So, hoping he didn't ingest any of the plastic.

The staff is sticking with the excuse that my dogs "must not have eaten" as "this sometimes happens". In other words, in the 5 days my dogs were there, they became experts in their feeding habits and I should trust what they say when Ive had them since puppies (Zuki 2 yrs, Cooper 9yrs). My dogs have been boarded multiple times and have NEVER had an occurrence where they didn't eat. (They have slow feeders for a reason.) It's also a little suspicious that BOTH dogs didn't eat the same amount. (Not likely.)

Owner refunded our money for the stay but cannot provide any proof that our dogs were actually fed during their stay. Watch out for Tim! He's a hot-head and an instigator that told ME that I shouldn't own dogs because I asked what happened and questioned his (lack of) excuses. The rest of the staff? The ladies that I came in contact with were great. They seemed to genuinely love their jobs and enjoy working with the dogs. They were appalled that my dogs were not fed and seemed genuinely concerned. However, none of them could offer an explanation because no one seems to know what he's doing when he's there alone.
