Affordable Companion Care has been providing caregivers to care for my aunt for 8+ years. During that time my aunt has had care every single day. Over the years we have been blessed with several caregivers that had cared for my aunt long term. I don't know what we would have done without them.

I think that you have us confused with someone else. We do not take applications on Care.com or online using any other means. We never, ever share information with any other parties in any way. We do not even ask our clients to write reviews for us out of respect for their privacy.

We put our information on all "NEW" posts for very full time care only. We do not intentionally contact people over and over. If you get our information more than once, that is hardly harassment. Also there are glitches with the system on Care.com which can cause you to get our information more than once. This is not our fault. You have now written a bad review of our company with no actual experience working with us in any way.

Pay your caregiver direct... agencies take a cut of their pay. I would stir clear from an agency

That is great advice if you want to get sued when the caregiver gets hurt, or end up in trouble with the IRS. Thanks for the bad review even though you have never had any business with us what so ever.

Lesa was very quick to get me off the phone. Less than 2 minutes into conversation. I was originally looking for 10 to 16 hours a day shift work, but with their rates, 24/7 would have been a better deal (if the numbers are real). When I mentioned, I originally wanted a late shift person, she started to tell me we are the wrong fit. Never gave me a chance to decide to give them a chance. Also, it is curious that Lesa A, the person I spoke to, gave her own company a rating on care.com. Bolstering their ratings. Best of luck to you guys. I just never got a chance to find out if you were real or not. At $195 a day, that's below state minimum wage, so I was ready to hear about, their fees, and additional with held taxes.

We do not do shift work and do not provide the kind of care you are looking for. You are expecting too many hours of care per day to qualify for Live-In Type care which is what we provide. I'm sorry you were unsatisfied with our phone conversation. Our care is specific and I do not like to argue with people who are demanding a different type of service.

We had a very good experience dealing with this company. Lesa was always available by phone, and worked very hard to provide caregivers that my Mom liked. My Mom was not an easy person to please. Also for what it is worth, after Mom passed, they settled our account quickly, with no hassle. A refund check came within a couple of days for the amount that we had paid in advance. I wish that settling all Mom's affairs had been so easy.
