Mr. Acosta came to us via our property manager to do some home repairs and replace our microwave oven. Work details, patch holes in the wall, remove old alarm system, Replace Microwave (MW), remove and replace damaged tiles and secure door in office room.
The Microwave (MW) oven replacement didn't go well, if I had not been watching him he would have installed it with the exhaust fan facing the wrong direction. That was not enough, he also didn't use the microwave wall hanger that with the new MW, but instead cut the existing hanger (metal parts) to make it support the new MW.

Next was the wall repair, he didn't do a good job with laying down the plaster, so I told him to leave it alone because I had painters coming in that said they would fix the work he already did.
The tile repair job was sub-contracted out to a third party, and I do have to say, they did a great job. It wasn't until later that we noticed that the tile next to the ones they replaced was damaged. I then called Mr. Acosta to advise him of the situation, he said he would contact the people who did the work and get back to me. Two weeks went by and I didn't here from Mr. Acosta so I called and asked for the status. He advised that he talk to the worker and was told he would talk to his son, (He is as an apprentice for his dad) and see if he new anything about the damage of the tile. Again, Mr. Acosta never called back with the answer, and when I called him, he said "the that the journeyman or contracted work now stated that he saw the damage before he started the work. I said that that didn't make since, why would I have asked to have the two tiles replace because they were chip, and not have that one replaced. He sort of agreed and said he would send him back at his cost to replace the damaged tile, again, that was two weeks ago and so far no call back.

Bottom Line: I will never hire his company again and would advise everyone to do the same.
