About
I am a licensed middle school/high school math teacher who tutors students in math and writing at the middle, high school and college level. I am knowledgeable in the math concepts involved in these courses: Pre-Algebra, Algebra I and II, Geometry,Trigonometry, Pre-Calculus and Calculus. I am level III CRLA certified as a tutor which requires the completion of a college level tutoring course which focuses on tutoring methodology. I also help students and adults prepare for standardized exams including the PSAT, SSAT, SAT, ACT and various levels of Praxis math exams, reviewing the concepts and strategies which enable students to meet their testing goals. My students enjoy working with me, typically indicating improved grades within 2 to 3 weeks of tutoring. My office allows students to focus in a relaxed atmosphere without distraction.
