After years of raising my own dogs, I started working as a canine handler professionally. My husband and I started our own business in February of 2015. I am located in the heart East Nashville where I live with my husband and our four pups. My experience with both our own dogs and clients' dogs have provided me with valuable training from daily basic routines to complex health and behavioral issues. Caring for dogs every day is my fairy tale come true!

Amy and A Furry Tail are the best for our pups!

Amy has been taking care of my pup, Finley, since 2016. Amy has a love and passion for animals that she keeps at the forefront of her services. From the moment I met Amy, her professionalism and sheer joy of her work was clear - as we interviewed while my teeny tiny 80lbs pup sat on her lap, demanding all the belly rubs. Amy is the only person I trust with Finley. She took the time to learn Finley's likes and dislikes - she even remembers to put ice cubes in his water dish because he prefers ice water! She leaves detailed notes on each of her visits so you know how things went. These notes are the highlight of my day! One time, during a particularly hot summer day, she and Finley went through their usual routine of playtime and walk. Finley has long hair and is prone to overheating. Amy stayed late with him until he hydrated. She is the absolute best!!
