Hello! I'm Mya, a graduate from Mississippi Valley State University. I majored in Early Childhood Education. Since graduating college, I've taught in head start and day care programs over the last four years. Growing up, I've always wanted to teach and loved helping out with the younger children in my family. I am ECE certified, has a paraprofessional license and also has a CPR/ First aid certification as well.

I'd describe my personality as friendly, dependable and honest I like working with kids because I'm a family oriented person and I cared for my nephew for the first 3 years of his life. I was his caregiver for my sister while she worked. I really enjoyed caring for him and still do till this day. In my spare time, I like to spend time with my friends and family. Hi, I have always had a passion for working with children. I took early childhood courses all through high school which allowed me to work in a preschool & have hands on experience with little ones. I recently graduated from MVSU receiving my bachelors degree in elementary education with endorsements in both reading and early childhood. During my time in undergrad I accumulated experience with children ages 3 - 12 years old and a semester long internship in a first grade classroom. I am currently a 2nd grade teacher. I have a 1-year-old daughter if my own and I am passionate, fun, loving, & enthusiastic when working with children of all ages. Any questions or concerns please don't hesitate to message me! With over 16 years of working in the care industry, I love what I do. I am a Certified Nursing Assistant with a passion for helping. I have been working with the elderly for many years. I've worked in facilities, rehab, hospice, and also private care within my patients' homes. I love communicating with my patients and their families and forming healthy relationships with them. I enjoy doing various activities and being outside looking at nature. In all the cases I've worked, the patient loved me and I loved them. I enjoy working one-on-one therefore, I can meet their every need and more. I was taught to go beyond the expected and not just what you are required. I have a 19yrs. daughter who's a sophomore in college and I also have 30 nieces and nephews that I have taken care of. I'm also a middle school art teacher for Cy-Fairbanks ISD. Before becoming an art teacher, I was a reading intervention instructor for 1st and 2nd grade. I'm a happy person who likes to laugh, play games, create art, and tell jokes. Through years of progressive experience, I have acquired a number of skills pertinent to childcare. I love developing curriculum and implementing them as appropriate to the children involved. I have also had the opportunity of staying with children on camps for weeks which has instilled in me the ability and experience to look after their needs including preparing meals and handling their hygiene needs. I always enjoy the company of children and understand how important child care activities are. My years of experience has taught me that children need to be looked after properly at every stage in their daily routine. In fact, how we take care of them today decides how their tomorrow is going to shape their future. I have a BS in Office Administration and a MBA in HR Management.

I'd describe my personality as kind, empathetic, and patient I love working with kids because I enjoy helping them learn and grow. I find it rewarding to support their development and to create a fun, positive environment where they can thrive. I started working with kids when at age 16 when I would take care of family members and friends kids when they were working or had to go somewhere. I love spending any day or time off I have with my friends and family. I'm in the area for university but drive back to my parents have every chance I get!

I'd describe my personality as a helper, compassionate and hard working I like caring for seniors because they need the help and it is something I love doing. I cared for my grandparents for many years and have been caregiver for 9 years now I'm looking for a job that I am able to provide care for a senior citizen in need I started caring for seniors when I was 18 years old. I cared for my grand parents then at 24 I became a caregiver and started caring for seniors citizens. In my spare time, I like to shopping, reading, watch TV , go out for a walk, cook and do cleaning.
