Do not let the great reviews fool you. The staff is great but the owner of the facility Sohail (Sam) Syed could care less about your loved one. We moved our 93-year-old mother in Valente approximately one year ago. The staff and owner made her feel welcome. Everything was great until she passed away on December 1st 2023 at 1:15 am. 1 hour and 15 minutes into the month of December. We were paying $4200 a month for her care and we always paid when the invoice was sent on the 20th of each month. (Early) Our mother died 1 hour and 15 minutes into the new month and Valente (Sam the owner) will not pro-rate or refund one dime of the money that was paid for the full month. He stated that we needed to give notice of her moving out or dying per the contract? There is nothing in the contract about dying. What a thing to say to a family that just lost their mother. All this owner cares about are the money and not the residents. This must be the most unethical way of doing business.
When we moved our mother into Valente, they were fully aware that she was going to spend her last years at that location and we had no intentions of moving her from that location. Our mother was on Hospice for the past 90 days prior to her passing, so the facility knew she was not doing well and I cannot imagine they do not have a waiting list for the facility. I spoke to Sam the owner and of course he stated he would consider and investigate returning the pro-rated amount and now he is not returning calls and has no intention of refunding one cent of the money that we paid in advance for the month prior to it being due. Stay away from this care facility for your loved one. I hope that the family members of current residents see this and take caution with Sam Syed.

Poor quality. Dirty room upon move in with poop on wall from previous resident and hole in ceiling. Fed my father sandwiches for dinner 2 days out of the 4 he was there. Short staffed the few days my father was there due to many quitting. If you love your family member do not use this facility.

The caretakers are amazing. Too bad the owner and the current manager keeps chasing everyone away. Since the current manager has been there, over 12 employees have left, which says a lot.
