I am looking for weekend in-home care for my Mother. Responsibilities include: * Assists with activities of daily living, including bathing, teeth brush (dentures), dressing, grooming, toileting, etc. * Will get her up in the morning and get her to bathroom and cleaned up and dressed. * We want someone who will allow her to do as much of her own care as possible. * Make or warm up simple breakfast and lunch meals and assist with medicine reminder. * Encourages her to get adequate water and let us know of any changes in her eating/drinking or habits to us. * Do simple activities with her, like play a game, cards, coloring, puzzles, painting her nails, fixing her hair, reading, sitting outside or walking/exercising outside or inside. * activities, incidents, and observations; reports any changes in her physical condition and/or behavior, observes and reports on her health and emotional condition lets us know of any changes to the supervisor. * Keeps her room clean, safe, and orderly and does her laundry, changes sheets, makes bed. * Is kind & responds positively to her requests for assistance. * Does full shower hair washing, etc., if needed Work Hours: We are flexible but 8:30 to 3:00 ish Saturday & Sunday and Friday evenings or every other Friday evening would be great. There are dogs and a cat in the home.

She needs help with grooming - showering, getting dressed, hair, nails, etc., and help doing her PT exercises daily. I like to get her outside every day, unless it is cold, even just to sit on the porch. She enjoys being social but has a hard time since she isn't very mobile. I work full-time from our home and work long hours and my husband has an illness & retired. We have dogs & a cat in the home. My Mom is super sweet. She needs help with breakfast and lunch, medicine, grooming-showering, getting dressed, hair, nails, etc., and help doing her PT exercises daily. She likes to play games or cards. She uses a walker. I like to get her outside every day, unless it is super cold, even just to sit on the porch. She enjoys being social but has a hard time since she isn't very mobile. She uses a walker. If you were open to taking her to the park or for senior activities or church on Sunday or for a drive that would be great also. She will need her laundry done, sheets changed, bathroom kept cleaned and bed made, etc. I would be very interested in speaking with you. We need Weekend care as soon as possible - starting around 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. But we could work exact hours out with the care giver. We are also looking for someone 3 evenings a week from 7:00/7:30 to 9:00/9:30 to get her dinner if she hasn't eaten, give her her night medicine, get her cleaned up (either sponge bath or shower), teeth brushed, hair brushed, lotion on and ready for bed.
