Weekend daytime caregiver needed for a family member with a traumatic brain injury (he is 60, 5'9", 145 lbs., wheelchair-bound). His apartment is in a separate part of a well-maintained house in Gig Harbor.
The daily routine includes:
-Transferring (to/from toilet, bed, recliner, car, etc.) using a lift (Sara Steady Lift) or manual transfer. He is not dead weight; he can move his legs and arms on command.
-Personal hygiene (shaving, brushing teeth, bathroom habits, etc.). He has a hospital grade grab bar and bidet to wash and dry him.
-Bathing/dressing. He is very helpful and will move his arms and legs on command.
-Meals. All meals are prepared; just heat and feed him.
-Light house work (cleaning/maintaining living space, doing laundry, making bed, etc.).
-Assistance with physical therapy.
