I am an instructional support specialist with a local school district and would love to be your backup sitter or Mandarin tutor during spring, summer(every June and July), and winter breaks. My preference is to work nearby the public transportation. I've acquired my program director permit in July 2012 while I worked as a head teacher with Berkeley Head Start. I worked for a Montessori preschool briefly in 2009 and participated in the High Quality Classroom training with a project approach in conducting classroom investigations, field studies, and inviting visiting experts to advance children's learning. My native Mandarin speaking, reading, and writing skills enable me to better assist the children and their families who speak the language at home. I have been sitting my former students from a non-profit private center I worked for.
