Care.com’s Business to Business (B2B) Product Team is a key factor behind the fastest growing division within the company. Care.com’s Marketplace and Recruiting platforms (key elements in our B2B strategy) help small businesses reach engaged customers and attract qualified talent. Additionally, Care.com has recently made strategic acquisitions to bolster our Small Medium Sized Business (SMB) and B2B service offerings. If you are a few years into your Product Management career, this could be a great position for you to further explore!

As Product Manager, SMB, you’ll help grow this line of business and solve creative challenges as we look to integrate these recently acquired businesses. You’ll identify opportunities to grow revenue from existing products and services, launch new value-add features, and innovate SAAS tools to help SMBs run and grow their business.

Additionally, this role offers the unique opportunity to product manage a true B2B2C service—simultaneously supporting small-to-medium businesses that provide services in the care industry while offering families more affordable and diverse care options. The ideal candidate is flexible, customer-centric, and thinks quickly on their feet. They’re comfortable working in a fast-pace, start-up-within-a-start-up environment, and is energized solving challenges that span the digital and real world.

Specific Duties/Responsibilities

  • Ownership of SMB product roadmap, prioritization, and product requirements
  • A data driven, customer-first (knowing that “customer” can have multiple definitions in a B2B2C environment) approach to all decision making
  • Own entire agile project lifecycle while indirectly managing and influencing cross-functional R&D teams and setting/meeting aggressive squad goals
  • Lead integration efforts with third-party products and services
  • Manage diverse internal and external stakeholders to ensure successful product launches

Required Skills

  • 2 to 3 years of hands-on product management experience
  • Professional experience 5 - 7 years
  • Experience working for a tech company, preferably a consumer-oriented or marketplace service
  • Experience with developing product requirements and user interfaces in a mobile-first environment
  • Demonstrated ability to manage cross-functional teams, solve complex problems, and produce high-quality results
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, start-up environment
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
