Vacation Nanny Jobs Near You

Family in West Jefferson (just west of Hilliard off I-70) is looking for a fun, loving, ethical, creative and energetic nanny that can grow with their family. They have 2. 5-year-old twins (1 boy, 1 girl). The start date would be January 2, 2017 but that has come and gone so they are looking for someone to start as soon as possible. They need M-F approximately 9:30a-5:30p (times not firmed up yet--may be 8:30a-4:30p or 9a-5p instead), and are willing to guarantee payment for 40 hrs per week. There will be some opportunity for overtime hours when mom needs to travel for work, but there is no regular set schedule for this. Mom works from her office out of the home. They are willing to pay $12-14/hr ($480-560 per week). They will also offer 2 weeks paid time off in the first year (combo of sick days and/or vacation days), and nanny will also get other paid days off that the family takes (including many holidays). This is a contract position. Nanny's responsibilities would be: *Caring for 2-year-old twins in their home (Family's home) *Light housework including doing kids' laundry, dishes, cleaning the nursery, light cleaning (e. g. wiping down counters, sweeping up, tidying toys etc.) and cooking for the kids *No current transportation of children is needed, although in Sept 2017, there may be dropping off/picking up twins from preschool. Would discuss at a later date. Ideal candidate would be: *Someone who can help uphold parents' ethic of teaching the children manners & how to be considerate of others (important to mom & dad) *Environmental consciousness (e. g. teaching kids to respect animals, earth, others, awareness of nature, throwing trash away, recycling, not wasting things like food, water, etc.) *Talking rather than yelling through a dispute (teaching kids this too) *Teaching kids sharing, generosity, honesty (all qualities looked for in the nanny as well) *Education of the kids based upon their age group. A key component of this job is to enhance the kids' own creative play with activities (arts, crafts, games, exploration, etc.) to support development of skills appropriate for the 2-4-year-old age group. Supervised outdoor play, exploration & education are also highly encouraged.
