Hello! I consider myself a fun, energetic, organized and responsible mother of 3. My youngest is in high school, my oldest is the practice manager at a medical facility in PA and my middle child is a Business major in college. I have over 20 years experience in child care/nanny services with children ranging from 6-weeks-old to adolescent. I was a teacher's aide/ substitute teacher for 7 years in a small private elementary school in Gibbstown. Over the years, I have also worked as a medical secretary and as a pediatric dental assistant. As you can see, I really enjoy taking care of children and I understand that you desire the best care for them when you cannot be there. Children are my favorite people! Whether it's cooking a meal for them, playing a fun or educational game, morning exercise, singing songs, arts and crafts, taking walks, outdoor activities, homework or simply watching a Disney movie, be assured that I will do my best as caregiver of your precious children. They will be happy, safe and thrive in an environment that we prepare for them. If time allows and with your permission, I would like to do some light housekeeping or possibly prepare dinner as needed (if the child naps). I will provide excellent references. Thank you!

I am great with young children and helping them understand things a little easier. I've worked with ages 3 to 8 in this area; so that is the age I feel I'm the best for.

I have worked with children (2-15 years old) for the past 21 years in a school settings and recently work with a family as a live-in nanny, housekeeper, and cook. I love to work with children reading stories, helping with homework, playing games of all sorts, even toddlers with gross motor skills, love the outdoors with sports, and swimming, etc. I am a easy person to get along with and keep things professional. My parents always look for me as a source of babysitting and helping their children with homework and guidance. I am seeking part-time educational or companion employment, willing to go to your house, have up to 4 students, and teach several areas K-12. The range has been below level to significantly above grade level. I am a coach joining with the parent or any other academic partner to encourage the child to succeed. I meet each challenge with hard work and research so that I can offer my best to each child. I have tutored CRCT Prep, SAT Prep Reading, Math K-8, Literature, AP Literature, AP Art History, and History/Social Studies and several sciences. I am currently tutoring AP Government, AP Literature and Environmental Science, as well as organization skills. In the public school system, I taught K-12, Ecology, Environmental Science, Biology, Earth Science and Life Science. I am familiar with many learning styles and learning differences or disabilities. I am a Christian and my own family will always be my priority, however, I have a big heart and I am extremely loyal to my students. As far as P.E. goes, I'm an active person who enjoys playing Physical Education as well. My mom is a professional artist and retired K-12 art teacher, so I have inherited some skill and acquired knowledge in several media. What I don't know, I seek to learn, and what I learn, I long to teach. I'm looking for part-time employment. Locations will be a consideration, so I can be home when necessary.

I have an MSc from Cornell University in Managerial Economics. I have taught and tutored in various academic subjects at the elementary, middle, high school and college level. My subjects include English, Math, Economics, Statistics, ACT and SAT prep. I have also tutored in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology. I live in Charleston with my family.
