Being in business in Denton Texas, I was asked to speak to the business students at North Texas University. It was an honor for me to explain how I had grown my business from one maid to providing many jobs at the time to over twenty. In Texas I belonged to the Chamber of Commerce of Denton County. Here in Georgia I try to donate maid service to those in need. Stingray Allstars has asked me to donate cleanings when a parent becomes ill. I feel when you pay forward to others and donate your time or the time of people who work for you, the reward isn't monetary, it is just what you do.

$425 for a deep clean that didn't include vacuuming couch cushions, cleaning my range hood, or picking up rugs and sweeping underneath. I was desperate to have my house clean and continued with the service. The 2nd week, the girls were called back inside because their was still food in the sink and crumbs on the floor. the 3rd week, I was cancelled on 15 mins prior to their expected arrival time.

Well we are very disappointed. Liz is a really neat person. She seemed very genuine in her interest in helping others. When we signed up with her we were disappointed to learn after the fact that she is not actually the person who comes out every week to do the work. Her goal was to grow the business. A handful of very nice girls began coming out. There were problems just about every week but Liz was open to resolving them. Attention to detail was definitely an issue.Beds unmade,bags of garbage left in the hall,skipping cleaning the shower etc.I continued to try and work with them.Always leaving myself available for questions.Our set day was Thursday afternoon.Being flexible on afternoon time is not an issue for us.This Thursday it was later than usual and we checked in with Liz."We are on the way" we were told.Five minutes later we were informed we were cancelled and that Liz was at a funeral.Not wanting to stress her I tried to communicate with another of her team about when we could reschedule.I was told she couldn't schedule.Liz had to.We were offered 8am the next day.Take it or leave it.I explained we can't do that early but would accept any afternoon the next few days.Liz responded angrily and honestly,accusatorily that if we couldn't do what she said that she understood if we left her company.Shocked I asked if it was always the case that when they were a no show we had to take whatever time they offered or lose being serviced that week.She said yes and said they were too busy to do that.She added that she had already bent over backwards for us but never explained what she meant.We never asked for anything that she didn't agree to to before giving us our quote.We had also given her a used fridge for her business and contributed to a charity she supports.Stunned I replied "ok.Gotcha".Three days later we got this email.



"It has been a pleasure serving you and your family the last few months.
Unfortunately, we are having to make some hard calls this holiday season, and regret to inform you we will no longer be able to service your home."

Surprised to say the least,we had already prepared holiday gifts and bonuses for her and her team.
I wish this had been handled differently but obviously Liz does business in a way that isn't a fit for us.I tried working with her in every way possible.I even compromised about having her unvaccinated team in our house.I am highly at risk and so is our special needs child.
I am disappointed in myself for not taking action when I saw red flags earlier.We will keep searching for a better fit.

Prompt and detailed! She came in and did everything the owner said she would do! I love them and would refer this company again and again
