Each human is a uniquely endowed individual having a whole life in a whole learning environment. Teaching and learning are inseparable. Learning and growth are what happens when people work and play together. Learning about oneself is part of learning about others, not about winning or competition. Therefore, your child will not necessarily be bringing home a project each day. His or her entire day is a learning experience, whether it is on the playground or eating lunch. The process of learning is more important than the product.

Children need ample time and space to explore and work at their own pace and learning style. Classroom experiences are designed to encourage involvement and risk taking using multi-sensory materials. As children make appropriate choices and are involved in their work they acquire a positive attitude toward learning. Learning is great fun!
