Summer Babysitters in Lockhart

I am a babysitter I started babysitting at a young age for family and friends, mostly youngsters under 5! I began steadily working with kids at 16 for a newborn and his older brother (11) for 2 years on weekends. I was a teacher for a pre-k summer program for 3-4-year-old after my freshman year of college. I then began nannying every day for a 4-year-old. Picking up from school, dinner, bed and many overnights. Throughout these years I was consistently working with kiddos, knowing that my passion is Child Psychology (hopefully a soon-to-be child psychologist). In high school I joined a group focused on leading young kids in our district, with emphasis on providing confidence and joy! I am extremely caring and always connect with kids on more than a "play time" level. I am most confident in my child-development skills with 0-5-year-old but have a great time with big kids too as my siblings are 10 and 14! No matter their age or abilities, your kids hearts and bodies are safe with me!

I have always enjoyed working with kids. I am in school to become a kindergarten teacher. I have babysat many kids around my town. I am responsible and honest. I have a good reputation in my town.

Through high school I earned my CNA license and worked in a nursing home for a year and a half in Lockhart. As a CNA I did the basics such as feeding, bathing, personal hygiene, and more. I am patient, undertaking, and most importantly caring toward everything I do. I have a 5-year-old sister that I have babysat since she was born, so I have experience working with infants. I am constantly around children and pets. Although my CPR certificate is not currently active, I do plan on renewing it.
