I started working with kids with special needs when I was in 11th grade for my study hall. Then I had a baby brother who lived to be 5 1/2 months old. He was born with a lot of mid line defects and other problems. I then worked for a school district (Stillwater) as a Substitute Special Needs Paraprofessional which was temporary for the year. I went to high school and my first year of college (whom I lived with in college) with a friend who was an epileptic. 4 years ago I worked with a little girl with special needs as well as caring for her younger brother and older sister, Including running errands, going to therapy, household chores. Currently I work at the Minnesota Autism Center. I am Behavioral Therapist. I am looking to nanny again!
