My talent and passion for teaching and working with children lead me to earn a Bachelor's degree in Education in 1992. I went on to become a certified teacher. My specialty area of certification is Special Education Infant - Grade 3, yet I have experience working with all age groups. My other areas of expertise include Autism, Autism Spectrum Disorder, and Early Childhood. I have worked in the field of Autism since 1984. My experience in Child Care began in the early 1980s. Throughout my journey, and fairly recently, I had the pleasure of working with two wonderful families from Care.com. We continue to have great relations today. They have offered written references which are available for you to view in my profile. Both families have said that they would be happy to provide you with additional letters of recommendations if needed. I would also be more than happy to send you my resume upon your request. With all this said, perhaps the main attribute of a successful Child Care Provider is the ability to maintain a good rapport with the child or children under his/her care. I possess this quality. I also know how to provide fun and creative activities designed for both learning and playing. Because I love the field of Child Care, I am willing to discuss some flexibility regarding payment.
