I'm a recent recruit to an a Cappella chorale group and I don't want to move so far away that I can't reach rehearsals in Lexington. I have experience with both chronic and crisis care: post-surgery or post-injury, MS, spinal injuries, ALS, paraplegia and quadriplegia, mobility issues, developmental problems, COPD, direct-gastric tube feedings, etc. I've worked with infants as young as 12 months old, and children, teens and elders. I'm an excellent cook with a broad knowledge of nutrition. I can substitute for problem ingredients. I'm familiar with lacto-ovo vegetarian, vegan and carnivore diets. I'm an experienced trainer of other species, exotic and domestic such as parrots, herps, pocket-pets, rabbits, dogs and cats, ferrets, and others. I enjoy pet sitting and even grooming. I've helped disabled clients self-train their own assistance dogs. I use the MBTA to travel, and am very grateful not to fight the insanity that is Boston traffic. I bless the subway, bus and train operators every time I board. * Personal Care Aide with over 15-yrs experience. * certified BLS / Basic Life Support [formerly termed CPR]; re-certified on July 18th.
