While working as an after school teacher, I also worked with special needs kids. I also gained experience while working at a summer camp. I am currently a CNA. I worked with a 1-year-old with multiple diagnoses including seizures and developmental delays. I helped with tube feeding, diaper changing, exercising, and just sang to her at times. I love working with those with special needs, as they seem to have a different outlook on life than others around them. They can be challenging at times, but the challenge is worth it. I have had background checks for school and have references, both available upon request.
