I have been working with children and young adults with special needs for nearly 10 years. A family friend has a son with autism, and I began baby-sitting for him in 2005. At the same time, I was beginning college and was enrolled in an ABA program at Florida Tech. During college I also worked at a preschool for children with and without special needs in Melbourne, FL. I graduated college in 2008 and went on to work in direct care setting for adolescents and adults in various settings including Fircrest Residential Habilitation Center and Woodinville Treatment Center, both run by the Department of Social and Health Services (DSHS) in Washington State. I am currently employed full time by DSHS, Aging and Long Term Support Administration as an Adult Family Home and Assisted Living Facility Initial Licensor. I am employed part time by DSHS' Children's Administration as an Intake Specialist at the child abuse and neglect Central Intake call center in Seattle. I am available to provide child care on a part-time basis. Please Note: I am NOT available during regular business hours.
