I specialize in caring for newborns, multiples and babies with special needs as well as assistance for new parents needing rest or just a good nights sleep. I am a registered nurse with experience in pediatrics, postpartum, newborn nursery and special care nursery. I have a passion for caring for and nurturing children, especially babies and feel extremely blessed to have had the opportunity to care for infants and children throughout my life. From the age of 10 when the first of 4 younger siblings were born til today, I always find a way to include children in my life. 10 years ago I put my nursing career on hold (while still maintaining an active RN license) to raise my daughter. In 2007, a friend that had been desperately searching for a reliable and trustworthy caretaker before she gave birth came to me asking if I would consider being a nanny. I accepted and began caring for her precious little one when she was 5-week-old. I loved that being a nanny is a great opportunity to not only love and care but also help with the child's growth & development as well as helping the family as a whole. I found it to be an extremely rewarding experience and am so happy to be able to continue today as a nanny. My philosophy is the more people to love and nurture your child the more well adjusted and better off they will be. My prices for care vary depending on your need. Medically fragile $35-50/hour. Twins/Multiples $20-35/hour. Caring for your child in your home $20/hour. Caring for your child in my home $15/hour. Work History-available upon request
