I am a PCA for an Autistic 12-year-old boy. I also did volunteer work at Gillette Children's Hospital over the summer and worked with many children ranging in all different ages. I am very passionate about working with special needs children because I look at life very deeply, everyone deserves a long happy life. I was once outside and said "hi" to a young teen with down's syndrome, later that day the woman taking care of her came back and said thanks for saying hi it really meant a lot to her. She said most kids just point and laugh. I was crushed, no child should ever be treated this way.
