Hello, My name is Samantha H and I am currently a full time student at Bowling Green State University working towards a degree in special education, moderate to intensive. I am on track to graduate in May of 2014. I am currently seeking a full time position after graduation for the summer, and possibly continue a position after the summer to provide care for individuals with disabilities. I have a wide range of experiences serving individuals with disabilities ranging from early elementary to adulthood, in both academic and recreational environments. At a personal meeting I would welcome the opportunity to discuss with you my credentials, and how my skills could contribute to the personal care your loved one deserves. I appreciate your consideration and I hope to hear from you soon.

Samantha was a Methods Student in my classroom in the fall of 2013. My classroom consisted of ten 5th and 6th grade boys with the diagnosis of Emotional Disturbance. Their academic levels varied from low first grade level to 6th grade. Sam was very dependable, professional and became a positive team player in my program. At first, she was a bit unsure of herself, but over the 9 weeks, she became more self assured and confident in her abilities. She taught small groups in math, spelling and reading and worked 1:1 with students on individual skills. She provided large group instruction in the subjects of Science and Social studies. Sam is very artistic and creative and provided many art lessons. I would highly recommend Sam. She will bring many positive assets to your program. She has the drive, knowledge and desire to be an Intervention Specialist to students with special needs.
