I assist the teacher in student supervision, paperwork and preparation. My duties included reading to or with students, working with students, who are struggling and overseeing assignments and tests. I would have to follow the teacher's instructions and to set up work stations, grade homework and prepare materials. I was also be called upon to take attendance, record grades and help with students' progress assessment. Students I worked with for the past 10 years have been students with special needs.
