I have worked with a special needs child for 11 years. That child is my youngest brother. Without going into personal detail about my brother's medical history, I can say that from my experience with him I am well trained in trach and G-tube handling/protocol. Also from volunteering at my former elementary school I have gained experience working with Autism, ADHD and Down Syndrome. I believe that love can reach even the most lost soul. Those around me have loved me, imperfections and all. So I believe it is a part of my being to love others, imperfections and all.
