With over 10 years in the paid child, adult, and elder care fields, I am an experienced provider who has worked with the non-disabled as well as those with brain injuries, autism spectrum disorders (from the severe to high-functioning), Alzheimer's, vascular dementia, Parkinson's, Down's, physical disabilities, Multiple Sclerosis, and learning disabilities, among others. I have cared for all ages, from newborns to middle-school aged, to middle-aged adults, to senior citizens. I have cared for three special needs children at the same time, and seven non-disabled children at once, and many combinations therein. My elder care experience is one-on-one. I am CPR/AED certified through the Baltimore County Fire Department, and have taken many first aid courses from the American Red Cross. I come from a home with siblings who have disabilities, and from a very young age taking care of those who cannot take care of themselves has been my passion, whether they are a newborn who needs my care or someone in their twilight years who needs some extra help.
