I have extensive experience working with children and adults of all ages, ranging from newborns to mature adults, in a variety of settings including clinical mental health provider in a therapeutic school, in-home child care provider, residential summer camp counselor, and as a primary care provider in a preschool, specializing in developmental play therapy. I have a Master's in Marriage & Family Therapy, as well as Clinical Art Psychotherapy. I have worked with children, teens, and adults with varying diagnoses, including Autism spectrum, ADHD, mental retardation, attachment disorders, oppositional defiant disorder, as well as several others. I have also worked with children struggling with social anxiety, victims of abuse and/or trauma, substance abuse, dual diagnosis, and general developmental delays. I have found that utilizing art therapy is an especially helpful tool with those reluctant to communicate, as well as those unable to verbally express themselves.
