I am a credentialed teacher in both multiple subjects for elementary students, and for secondary mathematics. I also have a Masters degree in curriculum & instruction. In addition, I have a specialist certificate in computers in the classroom. I specialize in developmentally appropriate conceptual learning. My focus is on hands-on teaching strategies which use a wide variety of manipulatives to develop conceptual understanding. My specialty is working with learners who have difficulty in a traditional classroom environment. I've worked with students of all ages from kindergarten to college. My students always say I am an extremely patient teacher and that I create a fun, stress-free learning environment.
