Nora is my niece. She has been an invaluable support to our family for several years as a very committed companion/caretaker for our daughter who is a child living with Down Syndrome-now 14 years old. In her current college years of study and training for a career in Special Education/Music Therapy, Nora regularly brings many innovated teaching-therapy interventions and dynamic game-focused play techniques to our family gatherings, drawing our daughter out and connecting her more readily and confidently to her extended family members. She has literally built social and emotional bridges for us to be more fluidly and joyfully connected to our daughter!
